Tfue – So What’s All The Buzz Around This Popular Streamer?

Tfue

If you’ve been around the game streaming community for any time, you’ll have heard the name Tfue pop up. Besides being a huge internet personality, Tfue is one of the best competitive Fortnite players out there. But how did he get his start, and why does he continue to make a buzz around the Youtube and streaming communities?

Who is Tfue

Tfue, whose real name is Turner Tenney, is 21 years old and originally from Florida. He started posting on Youtube in 2010 when he was only 12 years old,

It’s not clear when Tfue started to upload clips of him playing competitively in gaming, but his rise to fame started with him playing PUBG before transitioning over to Fortnite.

He now currently resides in Los Angeles. Although he doesn’t reside in the Clout House, he’s still seen in videos and blogs of fellow Clout members such as FaZe Banks, Alissa Violet, and Ricegum.

However, it should be noted, he is currently in a lwasuit with FaZe clan over a oppressive contract.

Tfue in the Media

To say that Tfue is only a Fortnite and gaming steamer is a complete understatement. He’s become well-known for his other types of content, including his vlogs and collaborations. In a video from March 29th called Making My Little Brother’s Dream Come True, he takes his brother to various stores and they spend 10,000 in less than 24 hours.

In another one of his videos, he’s seen gifting his mother a Tesla Model X

Controversies

For the most part, Tfue hasn’t been involved in too many controversial issues. However, in 2018, he was banned from Twitch from using a couple of racial slurs during a live stream.

He has also drawn criticism for his use continued use of profanity in videos. Since a good portion of his fan base is kids ages 13-18, people have insisted he make his stream more appropriate. Unlike other big streamers such as Ninja who have tried to cut down on the number of curse words they’ve been using in their videos, Tfue has obliged to critics and continues his videos in the same manner.

Tfue Lawsuit Against FaZe

In May of 2019, it was announced that Tfue was sueing FaZe clan for an oppressive contract, that saw
Turner Tenney missing out on 80% of his earnings.
